Lauren & Taylor’s Colorful Wedding in San Miguel de Allende: I don’t think I could have asked for a better group of people to photograph. Lauren & Taylor’s destination wedding at Casa Cien in San Miguel de Allende was colorful, romantic, and full of personality, but what I loved most was how easy everything felt. Lauren was the most relaxed and trusting bride, and Taylor had us laughing all day with his perfect Zoolander impression. We had such a great time with them and their entire wedding party that, by the end of the night, Dani Torre (the second shooter) and I genuinely felt like we had made new friends. The beautiful sunset-inspired palette of yellows, oranges, pinks and reds, the gorgeous florals by Florklor, and all the little Mexican-inspired details made everything feel so perfectly San Miguel.
And then came the party… and what a party it was. The dance floor was packed all night, everyone was dancing, laughing and having the absolute best time. As the sun went down and the candles lit up the reception, I remember looking around and thinking how lucky I was to be there documenting it all. This is exactly what I love about photographing weddings in San Miguel de Allende: beautiful places and beautiful details are wonderful, but it’s the people, the energy, and the moments that make a wedding truly unforgettable.
